NEC PC Engine GT / TurboExpress Full Capacitor Replacement – Recap Service

Professional full capacitor replacement service for the NEC PC Engine GT and North American TurboExpress. These handhelds are particularly vulnerable to leaking surface-mount electrolytic capacitors, which can cause sound, video, power and reliability faults and may damage the PCB if left untreated.

Please note: this service covers the capacitor replacement and associated cleaning. Severe corrosion, missing pads, damaged PCB tracks, failed custom ICs, original LCD faults or other unrelated damage may require additional repair. We will contact you before carrying out any extra chargeable work. If your console is completely dead, badly corroded or has been worked on previously, please contact us before ordering.

Warranty

The installed parts and workmanship are covered for 12 months against repair-related faults. Accidental damage, liquid damage, impact damage, misuse, further corrosion and unrelated faults are not covered.
