Standard Sony PS5 DualSense repairs
These services cover the regular Sony DualSense controller supplied with the PS5 and sold separately. They do not cover DualSense Edge or SCUF Reflex.
Standard dual-stick replacement
£29.99
The economical repair. Both original-style potentiometer modules are replaced, calibrated and tested.
Ginfull Hall-effect upgrade
£39.99
Both sticks are upgraded to Ginfull magnetic Hall-effect modules, reducing susceptibility to contact-track wear.
GuliKit TMR upgrade
£44.99
Premium GuliKit TMR magnetic modules for customers prioritising durability, accurate response and a higher-specification upgrade.
SCUF Reflex repairs
SCUF Reflex controllers require more involved disassembly and careful testing of the premium rear controls, triggers and model-specific features. These services cover SCUF Reflex, Reflex Pro and Reflex FPS, subject to inspection.
SCUF standard dual-stick repair

Standard vs Hall effect vs TMR
| Option | Sensing technology | Best suited to | Price level |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Contact-based potentiometer | A straightforward, economical drift repair | Lowest |
| Ginfull Hall effect | Magnetic Hall-effect sensing | A durable magnetic upgrade at a moderate cost | Mid-range |
| GuliKit TMR | Magnetic TMR sensing | A premium magnetic upgrade prioritising precision and durability | Premium |
Hall effect and TMR are different magnetic sensing technologies. Both avoid the worn resistive track responsible for many conventional stick-drift faults, but neither can prevent every unrelated mechanical or electronic failure. Installation quality and calibration remain essential.

How the UK mail-in repair works
- Identify the controller. Choose standard DualSense or SCUF Reflex. Do not order a standard DualSense listing for DualSense Edge.
- Select the stick technology. Pick standard, Ginfull Hall effect or GuliKit TMR.
- Place the order. The confirmation provides the sending details.
- Pack the controller securely. Use a sturdy box with cushioning; a padded envelope is not adequate protection.
- Repair, calibration and testing. The controller is upgraded and function-tested before tracked return.

Frequently asked questions
Are both analogue sticks replaced?
Yes. Every current PS5 controller stick service replaces both modules so that the pair uses the same technology and can be calibrated together.
Will magnetic sticks make drift impossible?
No. Hall-effect and TMR modules remove the contact-track wear mechanism responsible for many drift faults, but controllers still contain mechanical parts, solder joints and other electronic components that can fail.
Can you repair a controller that has been worked on before?
Often, yes. Previous poor soldering, lifted pads, damaged through-holes or incompatible modifications can require additional work. Anything significant is discussed before unapproved extra work is carried out.
Does this cover DualSense Edge?
No. DualSense Edge uses replaceable stick modules and is not covered by the current listings.
Do I need to send cables or accessories?
No. Send the controller only unless FrameRate Builds specifically asks for another item.
